DOI/URL/file → structured Markdown package → optional translate / RAG. Prefer full-text Markdown; inspect quality_label before citing.

Activate before cloud parse

Unauthenticated cloud parse is rejected. The guest path is a free Mdtero account (monthly free-plan parse quota — currently 10). Guide the user through this before inventing anonymous API calls:

1. Open https://mdtero.com/auth?from=skill (email or OAuth; invite code optional)
2. In https://mdtero.com/dashboard create an API key (one-time secret)
3. Install the Python runtime if mdtero is missing: uv tool install --upgrade mdtero
4. Run mdtero setup (workstation) or mdtero setup --api-key --json (headless); paste the key only at the secure prompt — never into chat or shell history
5. Confirm with mdtero doctor --json-compact until authenticated: true
6. Run the first parse below (arXiv DOI is a safe smoke input)
