form-941
Form 941 — Employer's Quarterly Federal Tax Return
This skill produces an audit-grade draft of Form 941 from a quarter's payroll data: gross wages, federal income tax withheld, employee and employer FICA, Additional Medicare withheld, sick/family leave (if any), and tax deposits already made. It walks through the form line by line, applies IRS rules, runs validation, and emits a deliverable an employer can transcribe to e-file software or paper.
The math is mechanical once the inputs are correct. The judgment is in which schedule attaches (Schedule B for semi-weekly depositors), whether deposits matched liability (else Form 945-A), and when to use 941-X to fix a prior quarter rather than re-filing. This skill optimizes for the latter — the agent should ask, not guess.
