Firecrawl Research Index for paper discovery

Use Firecrawl Research as a hosted search index, not as a downloadable paper corpus. Search returns ranked paper records and abstracts. A separate read request can return question-matched passages from a paper when text is available. The service also exposes related papers, citers, and references. The corpus includes arXiv and biomedical/life-sciences sources, but coverage is not exhaustive.

This is the Research Index at /v2/search/research/papers. It is distinct from Firecrawl's general /v2/search endpoint with categories: ["research"], which searches academic web pages. Do not substitute one for the other without saying so.
