Anomalyx2The code appears to be a legitimate PostHog API extractor with no evidence of malware, persistence, credential harvesting beyond its intended API authentication, or sabotage. It does send the configured API key and extracted data over HTTP requests, so host configuration must be trusted and HTTPS should be enforced. Validate and encode project_id and entity, restrict pagination next URLs to the configured origin, and reject non-HTTPS or unexpected hosts to reduce SSRF and credential-disclosure risk.
The fragment presents ordinary data-connector examples and does not indicate malware or intentional supply-chain sabotage. It contains several conventional security risks if configuration is untrusted: SSRF through configurable hosts, arbitrary SQL execution by design, possible credential exposure in database connection strings, and path traversal through the CSV filename. These risks should be addressed by the enclosing application with trust boundaries, URL allowlisting, timeouts, parameterized or restricted queries, safe database URL construction, and path containment checks.
