MANDATORY PREPARATION

Before proceeding, gather context about the design direction and quality bar. If a PRD or design decisions file exists in plans/, read it for design context (audience, tone, aesthetic direction). If no design context exists, ask the user 3 quick questions:

1. Audience — Who uses this?
2. Tone — How should it feel? (minimal, editorial, luxury, playful, etc.)
3. Quality bar — MVP or flagship?

Then refer to the frontend-design skill's aesthetic guidelines for design principles and anti-patterns.

Perform a meticulous final pass to catch all the small details that separate good work from great work. The difference between shipped and polished.
