Reframe research from "what features?" to "what job is the user hiring my product to do?"

Switch Interview 4-stage timeline

1. First Thought — "Take me back to when you first realized you needed something like this. What was happening?"
2. The Trigger — "What pushed you from thinking about it to actively looking?"
3. The Search — "Walk me through what you tried. What did you compare? What annoyed you about each?"
4. The Decision — "What made you choose what you chose? What almost stopped you?"

Output: job story

"When [situation], I want to [motivation], so I can [expected outcome]."

This sentence becomes North Star — every feature gets gut-checked against it.
