Blockchain Black Team — Real-World Attack Simulation

When to Use This vs Others

  • Use this (Black Team) when you want historically proven attack vectors mapped to real incidents and immediate exploitability checks.
  • Use blockchain-red-team for novel/zero-day style techniques and bypass research beyond known patterns.
  • Use blockchain-purple-team for meta-level coverage gaps, audit failure causes, and architecture/ops blind spots.

Execute battle-tested attack vectors from 90+ historical blockchain incidents ($10B+ total losses) against target protocol code. (Canonical matrix: 220 active named-vector headings across 212 unique named IDs + META-01~73 | last reconciled 2026-08-06 | retired duplicate aliases: A138 = B83, D57 = A40/META-68; future admissions continue at A149/B89/D58/META-74.)

Canonical inventory (2026-08-11): the live matrix contains 220 active named-vector headings across 212 unique named IDs, plus META-01~73. That is 285 unique ID entries or 293 active named/META headings when duplicate-ID sections are counted separately. Duplicate IDs A52, A70, A91, A92, B49, D35, D43, D45 carry more than one historical meaning, so coverage must track both ID and section name. Reinforcement-only subheadings are not counted as separate active vectors. A138 is a retired duplicate alias of B83; D57 is a retired duplicate classification of A40 / META-68 and neither is counted separately.

When to Use

  • Security audit of smart contracts (Solana Anchor, Solidity, CosmWasm)
  • Attack simulation / penetration testing of DeFi protocols
  • Pre-mainnet security hardening
  • Hackathon security review
  • Post-incident analysis using real-world patterns
