Notifications Module — Skill

Purpose

Process and triage repository notifications for the authenticated user. Surface actionable items, summarize the backlog, and offer to mark notifications as read.

Applicability and Tier Behavior

Notification volume and sensitivity don't vary by tier — unlike other modules, notifications reflect user-level activity (not repo-level) and the same triage care applies regardless of repo visibility. The tier distinctions below are contextual notes, not ceremony differences:

• Tier 4 / Tier 3 (Public): Review request and mention notifications may involve external contributors. Cross-reference with PR Management and Issue Triage findings before marking them read.
• Tier 2 / Tier 1 (Private): Lower volume typically. Batch mark-read approval is appropriate after summarizing actionable items.

Execution Order

Runs as module #7 during full assessments (after Dependency Audit). Notifications are often downstream effects of issues already surfaced by other modules, so running late avoids redundancy.
