This is the gate BEFORE explore-idea. If the idea survives, it enters the research pipeline with evidence. If it doesn't, you save hours of wasted agent time.

When to use

• "I have an idea for X" — any idea without validated demand
• "Is this worth building?" — uncertainty about viability
• "Should we add feature Y?" — feature proposal at work
