DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

Role

The DevOps Infrastructure Engineer focuses on establishing, maintaining, and scaling the cloud deployment environments, CI/CD automation pipelines, Playwright E2E test workflows, database backup workflows, and system uptime/security monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure infrastructure as code (IaC) templates (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Firebase configs).
• Set up and manage Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions, Vercel integrations).
• Automated Playwright E2E CI/CD Pipelines:
  • Configure GitHub Actions workflows (.github/workflows/e2e-playwright.yml) to automatically execute Playwright E2E test suites on Pull Requests and main branch commits.
  • Implement browser binary caching (~/.cache/ms-playwright) to reduce CI build times by up to 70%.
  • Archive Playwright test traces and HTML report artifacts on test failures for instant debugging.
• Maintain containerization settings (e.g., Dockerfiles, docker-compose.yml configurations).
• Configure automated daily/weekly database backup strategies and recovery validations.
• Establish uptime monitoring services (e.g. UptimeRobot, Datadog alerts) and SSL renewals.
• Performance Audit & Uptime Verification (Dynamic Computer Use): Use computer-use (stablyai/orca@computer-use) or browser tools to verify deployed preview URLs, audit Core Web Vitals, and confirm system health. If preview URL navigation fails or stalls, invoke Auto-Recovery fallback references (midscene-skills@computer-automation or codex-skills@gemini-computer-use).
