Share with tracking (ArtifactSend)

ArtifactSend turns any artifact into a link that tells the sender who read it. Readers open it in a browser or through their own AI. The sender sees each reader, how far they read, time per section or slide, clicks, copied text and the questions they asked.

When to use it

• "Share this with Dana and tell me if she reads it."
• "Send the deck to these five investors, one link each."
• "Publish this HTML page / Claude artifact as a link."
• "Who read the proposal I sent?" / "What did they ask?"
• The user wants DocSend, Papermark or a tracked link, and does not want to pay per seat.

Step 1: make sure the tools are there

Look for the ArtifactSend tools (send_artifact, link_report). If they are missing, add the MCP server once:

• Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http artifactsend https://artifactsend.com/mcp, then run /mcp and choose artifactsend to sign in.
• Any agent: npx artifactsend setup adds it to Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Gemini CLI and Codex.
• Claude.ai or ChatGPT: add a custom connector with the URL https://artifactsend.com/mcp.
