File a GitHub Issue
Treat /gh-create [OWNER/REPO] <request> as authorization to file one GitHub issue that describes the request. Every agent that uses this skill files issues the same way: the same structure, the same labels, the same assignee, properly attached media, and no leaked private data. This skill only creates and edits the one issue it files. It never changes code, branches, pull requests, or other issues.
Identify the target repository
- Prefer
OWNER/REPOgiven in the invocation or stated by the user. Otherwise use the current checkout's GitHub remote. Ask the user only when neither identifies a repository. - Require
ghwith an authenticated session that can create issues in the repository. - Check the repository's visibility before writing anything:
Record whether the target is public. The privacy rules below depend on it.gh repo view OWNER/REPO --json visibility,isPrivate, nameWithOwner
Research, optionally
Research makes the requirements sharper, but it is never required to file, and it must not hold up filing.
