Functional Programming in TypeScript
The Zen of Functional Programming in TypeScript
Types are truth The type system is your first and best test; trust it, extend it, let it guide refactoring.
Functions, not methods Favor pure, standalone functions over mutating methods. Logic and data are better apart.
Compose, don't construct Build complex behavior by wiring small functions, not by inheritance or sprawling classes.
Immutability is clarity Changing data increases entropy; prefer readonly and new values.
Explicit is safety Encode nullable, optional, and error-prone states as explicit types: Option, Either, custom unions.
