Accelerator and Portfolio Lead Generation
Portfolio pages are curated, public, dated lists of companies that have money and are expected to spend it quickly. Somebody else did the diligence and published the result.
The unusual advantage is stage precision. A batch has a start date, a demo day and a funding event, which means you can target companies at a known point in their lifecycle rather than guessing.
Who actually buys
Almost always the founder, at this stage.

The window three weeks to three months after demo day is the best one. The round has closed, the announcement rush has died down, and the founder is spending on go-to-market.
