Astro Architecture

Purpose

Turn requirements into a concrete Astro architecture: which pages render how, where data comes from, what runs on the server, what content infrastructure is needed, and where the app deploys. The output of this skill is a design — implementation happens in the domain skills.

When to Use

Activate when the task involves:

• designing a new Astro project or a major feature
• choosing static, server, or hybrid rendering
• deciding where and how data is fetched
• planning content architecture (collections, content layer, CMS, database)
• deciding what needs an island vs plain HTML
• choosing the deployment target and adapter
• reviewing an existing architecture for soundness
