Purpose

Establish the mental model and mechanics of an Astro project: how the project is laid out, how .astro components work, and how template, style, and script code behave. This is the entry skill for any work inside an existing Astro codebase.

When to Use

Activate when the task involves:

• understanding or explaining an Astro project structure
• creating or editing .astro components, pages, or layouts
• props, slots, or component composition
• scoped styles, global styles, or CSS imports
• frontmatter (server) scripts vs client scripts
• imports, aliases, or asset handling basics
• reviewing unfamiliar Astro code
