Astro Lit

Purpose

Integrate Lit web components into Astro as islands: setup, custom-element authoring, properties and slots, and the web-component-specific SSR caveats.

When to Use

Activate when the task involves:

• adding Lit to an Astro project
• custom elements (@customElement) used from .astro
• building reusable web components (design system, framework-agnostic elements)
• debugging Lit islands
