Astro Skill Authoring Standard

Purpose

This skill defines how every other skill in this repository is scoped, structured, written, validated, and released. It is the Phase 1 standard: no skill is created or modified except through this procedure.

When to Use

Activate when the task involves:

• creating a new skill directory
• updating or splitting an existing skill
• reviewing a skill against the quality gates
• checking frontmatter, naming, or description compliance
• deciding whether knowledge belongs in SKILL.md, references/, scripts/, or assets/
• running npm run validate and interpreting results
