Functional Release Notes

Use this skill to produce user-facing release notes between two GitHub releases.

Trigger rule

Use this skill only when the user explicitly mentions release-note or release-notes.

Inputs

• starting release: release tag/name to diff from
• target release: release tag/name to diff to
• application: the product to cover (Diagnostics or Anomaly Detection)

If the application is missing, infer it only when a release ref is unambiguous (for example, diagnostics/* means Diagnostics). Otherwise, ask only for the missing input. Repeat the resolved application in the release-note title.

Application scope

This repository contains two products. Do not include a change merely because it falls between the two refs: it must affect the requested application.
