SoundCraft
Overview
SoundCraft is an open-source, pure-Rust digital audio workstation: a clean-room reimplementation
of the Avid Pro Tools workflow (recording, editing, mixing, automation, bounce) that also runs in
a browser (README.md:13, docs/target-app-parity.md:1). It is a Cargo workspace of layered
crates plus three entry points — desktop app, soundcraft-cli, and a WebAssembly build
(docs/architecture.md, Cargo.toml workspace members). It is pre-alpha: the measured menu
breadth is 482/512 of the target's menu leaves (94.1%), but three core workflows fail the alpha
gate — recording from a chosen interface/buffer, recording MIDI from a controller, and session
interchange with Pro Tools (AAF/OMF/.ptx) (ROADMAP.md, docs/roadmap.md "Alpha gate").

v0.8.0 release tag (commit 2578ea69a388395ddadb6394d7b4ab40f21aa670), which is what the
installed /Applications/SoundCraft.app reports (CFBundleShortVersionString 0.8.0); verify
against your installed version, because the Launcher auto-updates and this checkout may lag a
newer release.
