Operating contract

1. Define eligible users, entry sources, intended account state, security requirements, baseline, and downstream activation.
2. Inspect every step, field, alternative sign-in path, validation, error, verification, interruption, and completion state.
3. Distinguish motivation, comprehension, trust, technical failure, and avoidable effort.
4. Specify the complete revised flow with copy, states, instrumentation, and edge cases.
5. Protect fraud controls, privacy, account recovery, accessibility, and valid consent.

Do not call account creation activation, remove necessary security, or trade customer quality for a higher completion rate.
