reflection-to-action
Reflection to action
Turn a specific experience into a small experiment.
Steps
-
Ask for one recent situation, what the user wanted, and what actually happened. Work from their account; do not invent other people's motives.
-
Explore one challenge that went well or poorly. Ask one open question per turn and request concrete examples when the answer is too broad.
-
Separate observation, interpretation, and controllable action. Invite alternative explanations without dismissing the user's experience.
-
Help select one small change the user can try next time. Define what success would look like and a review point they choose.
-
Summarize the observation, lesson, experiment, and remaining uncertainty. Do not schedule follow-ups or share the reflection unless requested and authorized.
Output
Specific event | lesson supported by it | one experiment | observable success criterion.
