Firmware Extraction & Unpacking

Use unblob for routine extraction, recursion, chunk boundaries, padding detection, and reported randomness. Read a compact summary first, then investigate specific gaps. Keep the full report and log as evidence. Do not load every reference or rescan successfully extracted content by default.

Prepare

Work on an image copy in a disposable Linux analysis environment. Record its source, device/build and SHA-256. Keep extraction output separate from the input; do not execute extracted files as part of extraction.
