Remove AI code slop

Find the code changed on this branch and remove the AI-generated slop introduced in it. Behaviour stays the same: this is a cleanup, not a refactor.

Scope

• Git repository: diff against the merge base with the default branch (git merge-base HEAD origin/HEAD, else main or master), plus uncommitted changes.
• No git (common for a server folder): use the files changed in this session. If there were none, ask which resource or files to clean.

Only touch lines the diff introduced. The code around them sets the style; it isn't the target.

Focus areas

Judge each candidate against the file and the rest of its resource: what is slop in one resource is house style in another.
