Method

1. Restate the team/org OKRs in plain language
2. Map each live workstream to the key result it moves
3. Flag orphan work — busy but tied to no result
4. Flag uncovered key results — a goal with no work behind it
5. Make the mapping visible so prioritisation has a north star

What Good Looks Like

• Every workstream names the key result it advances
• Every committed key result has owned work
• Leading indicators exist, not just lagging outcomes

Best Practices

• If work maps to no result, question the work or the result
• Outcomes (changed user behaviour) beat outputs (shipped features)
• Re-map when OKRs reset
