Per-user Copilot Chat preferences set on github.com. Applies to every repository that account uses Copilot Chat against, but only on github.com.

Where they live

1. Open github.com/copilot.
2. Click your profile picture in the bottom-left.
3. Choose Personal instructions.
4. Click the lightbulb icon for templates, or paste your own markdown.
5. Click Save.

Active immediately. They persist until edited or removed.
