Python Design
Design patterns extracted from 40 mainstream Python projects. The patterns database (references/patterns-db.json) contains 455 patterns across 11 dimensions; this skill surfaces the 70 high-frequency patterns (≥3 project validations) as actionable reference with recognition signals, trade-offs, and anti-pattern contrasts.
Workflow
- Identify the design dimension.
- Load the matching reference file for patterns with Recognize signals, When/When not guidance, and ❌→✅ code contrast.
- Consult decisions.md for trade-off guides (dataclass vs TypedDict, Protocol vs ABC, eager vs lazy, sync/async strategies).
- Consult CONTEXT.md for pattern glossary, cross-cutting concerns, and dimension definitions.
