Upstream README
Whether it's a product that's already half-built or one starting from scratch, you give it an idea and it will produce, in one go, a Persona and a User Journey, identify and rank the users' pain points, and use factors like the size of the user segment, the intensity of the pain, and the frequency... to help you find opportunities. Finally it helps you put together an MVP plan, along with what metrics you should be watching at the end... and so on.
It's not simply asking the AI to role-play as some brilliant product manager brainstorming ideas — it's the output that comes from going through a full "design thinking" + "product positioning" methodology.
Of course, these are all hypotheses; you'll need to validate them through user interviews and an actual launch.
This product-planning framework is suitable not only for software products — hardware products and even service-type products fit it just as well!
Here's a case study of the product-planning framework in practice so everyone can get a sense of what this skill can do. You just tell it what idea you want to build, and it will interact with you and produce this whole page for you.
