Use When
- An AI-on-SaaS engagement is in discovery, shaping, or qualification.
- The agency is being asked to scope AI features inside a SaaS product and needs to qualify the engagement before pricing.
- The proposal must demonstrate that the agency has interrogated AI fit, AI risk, AI maturity, and AI economics — not assumed them.
- The bid is competitive and the agency needs a discovery audit trail in the proposal to outshine vendors who skipped discovery.
Do Not Use When
- The discovery is for a non-AI SaaS engagement (use
saas-discovery-and-qualification). - The discovery is for generic AI strategy with no SaaS layer (use
ai-transformation-proposal+sales-discovery-and-objection-handling).
