• A Uganda tenant runs payroll or records payroll liabilities.
• The system must post PAYE, NSSF, LST, advances, loans, benefits, and remittances.

Do Not Use When

• You need legal payroll advice or current statutory thresholds. Flag for verification with URA/NSSF/local government guidance.

Hard Rules

• MUST separate employee deductions from employer costs.
• MUST not treat employee NSSF as an employer expense.
• MUST post payroll liabilities when payroll is run and clear them when remitted.
• MUST tag payroll lines by employee, department, branch, and period where available.
