Clearbit vs Apollo
Clearbit and Apollo serve overlapping but different purposes. Clearbit is a data enrichment and reveal tool: it enriches existing records and identifies anonymous website visitors. Apollo is a prospecting and engagement platform: it finds contacts, provides data, and includes outreach sequences. Clearbit is a data layer. Apollo is a prospecting tool with data.
The principle: choose based on your primary use case. If you need to enrich CRM records and identify website visitors, Clearbit is purpose-built. If you need to find new contacts and run outbound sequences, Apollo bundles data with outreach. Many teams use both.
