Speed-to-Lead Routing
Speed-to-lead routing is routing architecture designed to assign a lead to the right rep in under 30 seconds. Standard routing often takes 5-30 minutes because it waits for enrichment, runs complex rules, or sits in a queue. Speed-to-lead routing inverts the priority: assign first, perfect later. A lead in the wrong rep's hands in 10 seconds is better than a lead in the right rep's hands in 10 minutes.
The principle: routing speed and routing accuracy are in tension. Standard routing optimizes for accuracy (territory match, segment match, account match). Speed-to-lead routing optimizes for speed with a correction mechanism. Route fast, correct if needed.
