Agent Task Relay
Moving work between agent threads shouldn’t mean losing context or inadvertently changing the agent’s authority.
This skill checks incoming findings, separates assignments from evidence-only handoffs, and confirms external assignments with the user before drafting their prompts. It preserves each handoff’s limits on access, approvals, changes, and scope.
Workflow
Choose the route for the artifact or inbound handoff, then apply revision or review behavior when requested. Automatically select the inbound route for an unframed handoff. When user framing requests an action whose result depends on the transferred findings, complete inbound validation first, then resume the route or workflow that owns the requested action with the validated results. Follow framing directly when it explicitly defers validation or requests an action independent of the findings’ validity. For every other route, an explicit change takes precedence when the request also uses review or audit language.
- Inbound findings: To validate a pasted review, audit, findings report, or status response, follow Inbound Findings.
- Task relay: To assign work to an external agent, follow External Handoffs, then Task Relays, and apply Delivery.
- Decision relay: To pass results and decisions into another conversation, follow Decision Relays, then apply Delivery. Include material decisions when any exist.
- Specialized prompts: When the user explicitly asks for a subagent prompt, follow User-Requested Subagent Prompts, then apply Delivery. When maintaining a standalone decision capture prompt, treat that prompt as the change target and follow Domain Profiles.
- Revision: Follow the selected artifact route, then return every affected prompt in full under Delivery. Reconfirm a task handoff under Task Relay Confirmation when the requested change materially alters the confirmed flow.
- Review or audit: Use the selected artifact route as the review criteria, and keep the task read-only. Report findings against this entrypoint and the routed reference. Do not compose or deliver a replacement, and do not mutate anything.
