The code is not indicative of malicious supply-chain behavior. It contains no exfiltration, backdoor, obfuscation, process execution, or credential harvesting. It does have a significant data-loss and reliability risk because it deletes a persistent store without backup or confirmation and uses try! in the final fallback. Recovery should use the actual store URL, preserve or back up data before deletion, handle associated store files, and avoid forced termination.
