primitive-webhooks
Deliver every inbound email to your own HTTP endpoint as a signed email.received event, or stream the same events to a local process with no public URL.
When to reach for this
Use freely (no user confirmation needed):
- Listing endpoints, routes, and deliveries; simulating routing with
routes test. - Sending a test webhook to an endpoint the user owns.
- Running
primitive listenlocally while developing.
Ask the user first:
- Creating an endpoint that points at a production URL, or changing an endpoint's URL.
- Adding routes that change where an existing address's mail goes.
- Rotating the webhook secret: every endpoint on the account uses it, so every verifier must be updated at the same time.
- Replaying deliveries to a handler that has side effects (it will act again).
