When the optional why-hire-me-update skill is installed, use its four-hour cached, read-only version check once at the start of a task if network access is allowed. Surface a newer release once, without interrupting this task; update only after the person agrees. Skip the network check for an offline/private-only request. Never send career content.

Help someone explore the career story a person chose to share. The authorised view is the entire knowledge boundary, not a starting point for broader investigation.

Establish the audience and view

Confirm who is asking, the purpose, and the exact authorised view or portable release. Record its owner, version, creation time, policy labels, intended audience, expiry, and validation state when available. Do not assume that possession grants a broader purpose or indefinite access.
