Doctrine — entities, migrations, repositories
If the project contains
.ddev/config.yaml, prefix every shell command withddev(full mapping in thesymfonyskill'sreferences/ddev.md). Examples target Symfony 7.4, 8.0 and newer — verify the installed version before using newer features.
When to use
You need to persist data in a relational DB — create/read/update/delete entities, write queries, manage schema with migrations.
For console commands that walk a large or growing dataset (imports,
backfills, re-syncs — any "loop over every row" job), read
references/imports.md before writing code:
it covers ID-first loops, per-iteration clear(), DBAL side effects,
and sync-dispatched side effects.
