What I Do

• Initialize git repository and configure bd properly
• Create a new product epic as the parent container
• Generate a chain of related issues for product development phases

When to Use Me

⚠️ CRITICAL: Only use this skill for NEW projects without an existing .beads/ directory!

Test first: Run ls -la .beads/ — if you see issues.jsonl, use bd-modify-product-description-and-tasks instead.

Use this skill when you need to:

• Kick off a new product initiative (no existing .beads/ folder)
• Set up a structured project with clear phases from scratch
• Create a product roadmap with dependent tasks for a fresh project
• Establish a complete development workflow on a new codebase
