Motion graphics with Splice

Connect the Splice MCP server at https://splice.film.fun/api/mcp (OAuth sign-in, or Authorization: Bearer sk_… from https://splice.film.fun/dashboard/api-keys). Without MCP, use the REST API under https://splice.film.fun/api/agents/* with the same key (reference: https://splice.film.fun/llms-full.txt).

A Motion composition is a self-contained HTML document animated with GSAP. Splice renders it in headless Chrome and encodes it to MP4.

Steps

1. List or create. list_compositions shows the user's compositions. Create one over REST: POST https://splice.film.fun/api/agents/compositions {title, payload}, where payload is the HTML.
2. Check it. get_composition {composition_id} returns the HTML, size and duration.
3. Render. render_composition {composition_id, output_format: mp4|webm|png, preview_seconds?} (a flat price; see list_models type composition-render). preview_seconds renders a short range first.
4. Poll get_job (about a minute) and return the media_url.

Keep image-heavy HD compositions light: they can time out. Render a short preview before the full length.
