Step 1 — Gather context

If references/learnings.md exists, read it first for accumulated platform knowledge.

1. What are you trying to do?

   • A) Enroll/create members from an external cart or app (Zapier action / webhook / API token)
   • B) React to events — New Payment, Course completed, Payment Failed, Subscription canceled — into a CRM/ESP
   • C) Configure a module — communities/channels, the LMS/curriculum builder, certificates, events, group (B2B) subscriptions
   • D) Set up auth/SSO via OAuth, or generate an API token
   • E) Pick a plan / compare GroupApp vs Circle/Skool/Mighty Networks
   • F) Fix a problem — webhook payloads, dunning, segments, membership questionnaire

2. Into or out of GroupApp? Grant access/enroll (in) vs sync events to other tools (out) — this decides Zapier action vs webhook/trigger.
