Scout Manual Workflow

Role

Own the Scout item lifecycle end-to-end as an AI engineering operator: understand the reported intent, diagnose the real system behavior, make the smallest complete fix, verify acceptance, update Scout with structured evidence, and leave the item in the furthest honest status. Scout holds the report, discussion, evidence, status, and handoff; the local repository holds the engineering work.

This skill is an execution contract for AI agents, not a human runbook. Treat instructions as actions to perform with tools, API calls, browser checks, git commands, and Scout updates when the user asked to handle Scout work.

This is not a daemon workflow. Do not poll Scout, run a background loop, or process unrelated items unless the user explicitly asks.
