Gist Screenshot Evidence

Use this skill when GitHub PR or issue work needs visual evidence.

Workflow

1. Capture the screenshot with the task-appropriate browser or screenshot tool.
2. Save the screenshot as a local image file.
3. Publish the image with scripts/publish_screenshot.py, reusing the configured secret gist.
4. Paste the returned Markdown image link into the GitHub PR or issue comment.

Use scripts/cleanup_gist.py when the reusable gist needs inspection or cleanup. Deletion invalidates links to the removed screenshots.

Requirements

• gh CLI must be installed and authenticated.
• The authenticated GitHub account must be able to create or update gists.
• git must be installed and able to push to GitHub.
• Reuse one secret gist. The script remembers the created gist in .local/config.json.
