Guitar Gear Modeling

Use this skill for dimensionally grounded Blender modeling of guitar pedals, amplifiers, speaker cabinets, rack gear, footswitches, knobs, jacks, switches, handles, corners, vents, fasteners, and related product hardware.

Read construction standards for reference hierarchy, corner diagnosis, mechanical gaps, panel constraints, slant geometry and support placement. Read component construction for knobs, jacks, toggles and repeated hardware. Read Blender operations when scripting, handling nested instances, saving standalone libraries or exporting. Use templates/product-brief.md when the request lacks a compact specification.

Runtime GLB export

Use for an interactive guitar-gear plugin asset. Preserve the accepted master and build a separate runtime derivative. Read runtime export for export collections, semantic nodes, rest pivots, extras, hit proxies and static consolidation. Source-level separate-part rules above remain appropriate for the master; runtime joining is scoped to the derivative.

Refinement decision rules

Lock accepted systems and name the allowed changes before editing. For ambiguous visible defects, compare the baseline with restrained candidates under fixed conditions; keep the smallest change that improves reference match at delivery size. Stop when requested work is complete, delivery-preventing or visibly/dimensionally wrong issues are resolved, and protected systems pass regression checks; do not discard verified repairs or mark unfinished requirements passed to stop.

Use the refinement contract for source/target versions, evidence and stop conditions. The shared candidate and diagnosis procedure owns detailed comparison rules. If using this skill alone, record facts, accepted values, uncertain estimates, allowed changes and protected properties in the existing project brief.

When to use

Use when the user asks to create, revise, rebuild, dimension, or clean up physical guitar gear in Blender.
