Use the design-ui skill — it contains design principles, anti-patterns, and the Context Gathering Protocol. Follow the protocol before proceeding — if no design context exists yet, you MUST run meta-design-setup first. Additionally gather: quality bar (MVP vs flagship).

Perform a meticulous final pass to catch all the small details that separate good work from great work. The difference between shipped and polished.

Use design-polish late in the process, after the feature direction and structure are already settled. If the feature needs major visual or structural changes, use design-ui, design-layout, design-normalize, or another specialized skill first.

Understand the current state and goals:
