Clear, self-contained answers and verifiable evidence can make content easier for people and retrieval systems to interpret. The GEO paper evaluates interventions under a particular experimental setup; it does not establish universal passage lengths, platform preferences or guaranteed business lift. Use the rubric below as an editorial heuristic, then measure actual citations on a dated, reproducible query/model sample. Traditional SEO also depends on useful, credible content, not a target keyword density.
