Screen Adverse Media
Screen a person or organisation for adverse media coverage, PEP (Politically Exposed Person) status, and sanctions exposure. Apply a corroboration gate to every hit: report review needs rather than guilt, and never describe "nothing found" as a clean record. The historical workflow below uses the Stipple API; verify service availability before use.
When to use
- Authorized AML/CTF due diligence; confirm the applicable legal obligations with a qualified reviewer rather than treating this tool as a mandated compliance check
- Vendor/supplier due diligence before signing
- Investor or LP vetting
- Ongoing counterparty monitoring (re-run periodically, compare warrant IDs)
Service availability check
The documented Stipple endpoints, schemas and allowances are historical examples, not a verified current service contract. Confirm the intended provider and current official API documentation, pricing and privacy terms before any request or upload. If the document-verification/screening API cannot be confirmed, stop the API workflow and report it unavailable; do not send data to a guessed endpoint or a repurposed domain.
Instructions
- Get the target. Name of the person or organisation. For document-based screening, a PDF/image of their ID or company extract can also be submitted.
