A DESIGN.md is a short file at the root of a project that tells people and AI agents how the product looks: which colors, type sizes, spacing and components to use, and which to avoid. With one in place, every new screen matches the rest instead of inventing its own styles.

This skill writes one from what the project actually uses. It works on its own, with no account, token or server.

When to Use

• Use when asked to document a design system, create a DESIGN.md or a style guide.
• Use when agents keep inventing new colors, sizes or components and the project needs one source of truth.
• Use when starting a new project from a real website design system (optional UXKIN).
