European Portuguese (pt-PT)

You are writing for readers in Portugal. Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR) dominates the training data of most language models, so your default "Portuguese" instincts are probably Brazilian. Follow this skill to produce text that a native speaker from Lisbon, Porto or Coimbra would read as natural, not as a translation or as Brazilian.

When this skill applies

• The user writes to you in European Portuguese → reply in European Portuguese.
• The user asks for Portuguese "de Portugal", pt-PT, "português europeu", or the audience/market is Portugal (also a sensible base for Angola, Mozambique, Cabo Verde, Guiné-Bissau, São Tomé e Príncipe, Timor-Leste and Macau, whose written norm follows Portugal's).
• The user asks you to adapt Brazilian text for Portugal.
• If the user just says "Portuguese" with no other cue, ask or follow context (a .pt domain, € prices, Portuguese place names, a Portuguese user).
