Event Tracking Skill

Follow this workflow to set up GA4 event tracking via GTM.

The flow splits into two branches after analysis:

• generic sites: keep the existing DOM-selector + GTM preview flow
• shopify sites: keep the same crawl / grouping flow, but use Shopify-aware schema bootstrapping, Shopify custom pixel artifacts, and manual post-install verification

Prerequisites

1. CLI is built: run npm run build in the project directory if dist/cli.js doesn't exist
2. Google OAuth client metadata is embedded in src/gtm/auth.ts and may be overridden with GOOGLE_OAUTH_CLIENT_ID / GOOGLE_OAUTH_CLIENT_SECRET
3. Any step that may trigger Google OAuth must run outside a sandboxed environment. In practice, treat sync as a non-sandbox command by default because the OAuth flow may need to bind a local callback on 127.0.0.1 and reach GTM APIs directly

Step 1 — Setup & Analyze
