UI capitalization

Capitalization drift is not a taste problem. It is one unmade decision, repeated across hundreds of strings by different people. Fix it once by recording three things, then enforce them: mode, locale, element map.

Two case styles exist. Everything else is a question of where you apply them.

• Sentence case: first word capitalized, rest lowercase except proper nouns. One way to be right.
• Title case: major words capitalized, minor words lowercased, with roughly a dozen exceptions. Many ways to be wrong, and native readers see every one of them.

Sentence case:        A great tool with the twist but not without its own quirks.
Broken title case:    A Great Tool With The Twist But Not Without Its Own Quirks
Correct title case:   A Great Tool with the Twist but Not Without Its Own Quirks

The middle line is the reason title case costs money. It shouts, it reads as tabloid, and it is what teams actually ship when nobody wrote the rule down.
